Customer FAQs

  • Create a booking from the customer dashboard by choosing a round trip, a drop-off trip, or HandyDriver’s unique drop-off-your-car-without-you option, then complete payment before the payment deadline.
  • Track booking status from My Bookings: Pending, Accepted, Paid, Active, Completed, or Cancelled.
  • Round trips still require a destination so the platform can estimate distance and recommend minimum booking hours.
  • If no driver accepts within the current request window, the booking cancels automatically so you can try again later.
  • For drop-off without customer flow, receiver confirmation is required to close the trip.

Driver FAQs

  • Accept requests from Driver Bookings or the dashboard request panel.
  • Only verified, available drivers with matching service suburbs receive live booking requests.
  • Drivers can expect round trips, standard drop-offs, and HandyDriver’s unique drop-off-your-car-without-you jobs that close with receiver one-time code confirmation.
  • If booked hours do not reasonably fit the route, contact the customer before travel and ask them to update the booking.
  • Payout details, ABN or TFN, payout terms, and invoice history are available in Driver Settings.

Account and verification

  • Email verification uses a one-time numeric code.
  • Drivers must complete profile and licence verification before going fully active.
  • Support requests created from the website are logged and triaged through the admin console.
